Halsall Construction challenges majors in South West
Bath & Exeter based Halsall Construction saw gross margins jump to 7.3% last year as it challenged Tier One contractors to jobs across the South West.
Halsall Construction: Latest accounts from the residential, education and care specialist show turnover rising to £33m for the year to September 30 2017 from £26.7m as pre-tax profits ticked-up to £756,000 from £244,000.
Managing Director of Halsall Construction, Andy Corp said: “These results demonstrate another year of sustainable, profitable and controlled growth.
“Our increasing scale, reputation and financial strength is seeing us become a viable alternative to Tier 1 contractors across the South West.
“The dedication and hard work of our teams to ensure that we provide predictable outcomes for customers underpins both this year’s success and our future plans, which with a secured order book over £40m are already well on the way to becoming reality.”
During the year Halsall Construction employed an average of 16 office and 38 construction staff.
